Why Do Business With WOODCO USA?

QUALITY

WOODCO USA QUALITY STATEMENT *

PRINT

WOODCO USA shall provide our customers with products and services that meet or exceed their specified requirements and the requirements of recognized industry standards, and we shall continually improve the effectiveness of our quality management system.

We accomplish this by following and continually improving our procedures, and we have established objectives that recognize customer satisfaction and success as primary goals.

*In compliance with API Spec Q-1

WOODCO USA maintains a quality program consistent with the requirements of API Specification Q-1. This industry-promoted and widely accepted specification calls for designs, methods and control features that assure customers of safe interchangeable products.

WOODCO USA products will meet or exceed specifications as required by API and industry standards, as well as any additional requirements agreed to between WOODCO USA and the customer.

WOODCO USA makes oilfield products, mainly made of steel, to contain high pressure fluids that may include substances poisonous to man and destructive to the steel. The steel chemistry used must respond predictably to heat treating and possible welding for manufacturing and later repair. The shape of raw material stock must facilitate the effectiveness of heat treating, and equipment for heat treating must have adequate capacity to provide the necessary heat input, and heat extraction (quench). The result of heat treating, and any welding and post weld heat treat, must result in steel microstructure that will provide adequate strength, impact toughness, hardness uniformity, and resistance to stress corrosion cracking, necessary for continuous field service.

Where possible, all WOODCO USA products have design geometry that will facilitate easy and successful manufacturing. Multiple manufacturing operations provides the opportunity for redundancy of inspection, by observation, by persons performing the next manufacturing step. Final inspection steps and testing, as required by Industry Standards, produces the resulting WOODCO USA product.

WOODCO USA products will have excellent appearance, and excellent function and performance, that will continue without undesired occurrence for as long as, or longer, than the normal expected product life.

WOODCO USA has procedures and methods in place to gather and collect customer feedback to determine product field performance and customer satisfaction.

We want everyone to know; "Doing business with WOODCO USA benefits everyone involved in that business."
